Purchased
from R & S Performance on 8/22/01
Modifications:
- HMF silencer being installed after I rode the dealership's quad
with a HMF, definitely a difference!
- Steering stabilizer from R & S. I rode a 2001 FX with it installed
and it was incredible. A must have.
Suggestions: Get used to the power and throttle response
this is no 400EX or Raptor. The best suggestion; SELL EVERYTHING
AND BUY ONE!

Eric
F Potter Jr, Hebron, CT
Production

Modifications:
- Maxxis Razors
- Rolled edge rims
Email: eric
Suggestions:
#1. On the first version of the fuel injection, (black injector line
instead of the new brown one), The quad will stall a lot when you
slow down or come off a jump. Setting the idle higher (front left
side past fuel pump) will help from stalling as frequently.
#2. Using Armorol on your quad will give a very shiny stunning look
to it and it will defiantly stand out, but Armorol collects more dust
on a dusty ride so you will need to clean it a little more. Never
use a degreaser on the plastic like simplegreen or use any harsh scrub
pads it will strip the clean coat on the plastic
#3. If the fuel injection system starts to whine a lot and the quad
stops or hesitates check the fuel line on the bottom of the gas tank,
the O-ring swells often and needs to be replaced or the line can come
loose.
#4. Using SOS or metal polish on your frame will make it stand out
quite a bit. SOS is the easiest to use and takes the least time.
#5. ALWAYS USE PREMIUM GAS, Also a little bit of Octane boost will
make your Cannondale run much faster with a much stronger powerband,
to much will reverse the effect and too little you won't notice. Use
about half a bottle for every 5 gallons of gas.
#6 Last and most important for the first month check all bolts and
nuts on your c-dale and tighten, if one comes loose more then once
use lock tight red or blue. I ride my c-dale everyday, I have owned
a few other quads and this is by far my favorite I hope the suggestions
help you =) |

#: 358
Modifications:
- Aluminum handlebars
- Rolled bead wheels
Email: brandon
Suggestions: If you are actually going to ride your Cannondale
put a set of wheels with a stronger bead on it. Make sure your clutch
and throttle are adjusted according to the manual. Don't be afraid
to change your oil frequently and keep an eye on your nuts and bolts.
Give your suspension time to break in before you pass judgement. Keep
your chain adjusted to spec. |

Comments:
It is awesome the way it sits!
Suggestions: When you buy a Cannondale quad keep in mind
the suspension takes time to break in. It's very stiff on the showroom
floor but after about 6 hours of hard riding...it is perfect! |
